During an EU-funded assignment in Estonia on the conversion of former military sites, RegioFuturi was approached by the management of the Flygstaden former military airport reconversion project in Söderhamn/Sweden. Regiofuturi established contact with potential Estonian and German partners and accompanied the management team during discussions. Support was provided in the design of a co-operation project within the Baltic Sea region, which was successfully applied for under Interreg III B with partners in Rostock-Laage, Harju County, Vaasa and Liepaja.
